Keeping an ‘AI’ on Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant Pre-Wedding Gala: Sneak Peek of Guests in ‘Indian Look’
Navbharat Times got Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate images of expected guests at Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant pre-wedding gala in Indian look

As Gujarat’s Jamnagar gets set for the pre-wedding festivities of Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son Anant Ambani and industrialist Viren Merchant’s daughter Radhika Merchant from March 1-3, Navbharat Times got Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate images of expected guests in Indian look.

From March 1-3, the Ambani Home in Jamnagar will be decked up for celebrations that will include an experience of nature conservation done over the last few decades in the city, the animal rescue and rehabilitation work being carried out under Anant’s leadership and the beautiful, traditional Hastaakshar (signing) ceremony that will be carried out in the Jamnagar Township Temple complex.

The couple will tie the knot in Mumbai later this year.

All three nights of celebrations will be themed. Day 1 is called An Evening in Everland, with the dress code listed as “elegant cocktail”.

Day 2 will host A Walk on the Wildside with “jungle fever” the suggested dress code. It is set to be held outdoors in the Ambanis’ animal rescue centre in Jamnagar, and guests are advised to wear comfortable shoes and clothing for this event.

Invitees will then swap their safari-themed outfits for more elegant ones for Mela Rouge. The dress code for this is “dazzling desi romance”, suggesting glamorous traditional South Asian attires for all.

The final day will also comprise two events. The first one, Tusker Trails, suggests “casual chic” dressing, as guests are expected to further explore the green ambience of Jamnagar.

The final party, Hashtakshar, calls for an elegant evening with heritage Indianwear.

Among those expected to attend the function are Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Morgan Stanley CEO Ted Pick, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Disney CEO Bob Iger, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, Adnoc CEO Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, and EL Rothschild chair Lynn Forester de Rothschild.

The VVIP guest list from India includes Kumar Mangalam Birla, Uday Kotak, Adar Poonawala, Sunil Mittal, spiritual leader Sadhguru, Sachin Tendulkar and family, MS Dhoni and family, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Amitabh Bachchan and family, Rajnikanth and family, Shah Rukh Khan and family, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, and Madhuri Dixit.

Famous international artists including Rihanna and magician David Blaine are set to perform at the pre-wedding festivities. Top Indian musicians who’ll perform include Arijit Singh, Ajay-Atul and Diljit Dosanjh.

And, Moneycontrol has quoted reports saying that, according to the head of The Jardin Hotel, around 2,500 dishes with a global menu including Thai, Japanese, Mexican, Parsi, and Pan Asian will be part of the three-day fare that will have four meals per day.

The guests will be served breakfast with 75 dishes, lunch with more than 225 items, dinner with around 275 dishes, and a midnight meal with over 85 items to choose from. The midnight meal that will begin at the stroke of midnight will go on till 4 am. This meal reportedly has been specially curated for the foreign guests. Every single item served will be prepared under strict guidelines and protocol and none of the dishes served will be repeated for the 12 different meals over three days.

A troupe of 65 chefs including 20 women chefs, and four trucks full of ingredients will be reaching Jamnagar from Indore.

It has been reported that a special Indore Sarafa Food Counter will also be put up there that will serve well-known food items including Indori kachoris, poha jalebi, bhutte ki kees, khopra patties, upma, and other such dishes with authentic flavours.

As part of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s much-awaited pre-wedding celebrations, the Ambani family has facilitated the construction of 14 new temples within a sprawling temple complex in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

Featuring intricately carved pillars, sculptures of Gods and Goddesses, fresco-style paintings and architecture inspired by generations of artistic heritage, the temple complex has India’s rich cultural and spiritual identity at its heart.

Ahead of the festivities, Reliance Industries and Reliance Foundation on Monday announced the launch of their Vantara (Star of the Forest) programme, an umbrella initiative to focus on rescue, treatment, care and rehabilitation of injured, abused and threatened animals, both in India and abroad. The Vantara initiative, the first-of-its-kind in India, has been conceptualised and birthed under the passionate leadership of Anant Ambani, Director on the boards of RIL and Reliance Foundation.

Vantara is focused on creating best-in-class animal conservation and care practices, including state-of-the-art healthcare, hospitals, research and academic centres. Within its programmes, Vantara also focuses on integrating advanced research and collaboration with reputed international universities and organisations such as the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF).
