G20 Summit: From Biden to Sunak, Known When Global Leaders are Landing in Delhi For Grand Event
This will be the 18th G20 summit, and the first one hosted under India’s presidency. It aims to bring together G20 member countries along with guest nations to participate in discussions about diverse economic reforms.

It’s almost a full house in the G20 summit in Delhi on September 9 and 10. Security in the national capital, particularly in the New Delhi district, has been significantly strengthened on the eve of the G20 summit. Officials reported that a vigilant watch is being maintained by the police, paramilitary forces, and various other agencies.

Markswomen and armed forces have been strategically stationed, and there is an increased presence for patrols and thorough checks in border areas. These are among the precautionary measures implemented by the Delhi Police in anticipation of the G20 summit scheduled at Pragati Maidan from September 9 to 10.

When Are The World Leaders Landing

US President Joe Biden will be greeted by Minister of State VK Singh on September 8 at approximately 6:55 PM.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is scheduled to be received by Minister of State Ashwini Choubey at 1:40 PM.

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be welcomed by Minister of State Darshana Jardosh at 12:30 PM.

Minister Ashwini Choubey will also extend greetings to Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida at 2:15 PM.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will receive a warm welcome from Minister of State Shobha Karadlaje at 8:50 am.

Chinese Premier Li Qiang is set to arrive and be greeted by retired General VK Singh at 7:45 PM.

UAE President HH Shaikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan will be welcomed by Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai upon his arrival in the national capital at 8 PM.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s arrival at 6:15 PM will be marked with a reception hosted by Union Minister of State Rajeev Chandrasekhar.

Cyril Ramaphosa, President of South Africa will arrive at 11:45 am, to be received by Danve Raosaheb Dadarao, Minister of State in the Ministry of Railways

Mohammad Bin Salman Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to arrive at 4:50 pm

Suk Yeol Yoon, President of the Republic of Korea to arrive at 5:10 pm, to be received by Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar

Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt to arrive at 5:45 pm, received by Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar

Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada to arrive at 7 pm, received by Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar

Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, President of Brazil to arrive at 8:45 pm, will be welcomed by Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai
