Security in the national capital, particularly in the New Delhi district, has been significantly strengthened on the eve of the G20 summit. Officials reported that a vigilant watch is being maintained by the police, paramilitary forces, and various other agencies.
Markswomen and armed forces have been strategically stationed, and there is an increased presence for patrols and thorough checks in border areas. These are among the precautionary measures implemented by the Delhi Police in anticipation of the G20 summit scheduled at Pragati Maidan from September 9 to 10.
