Shilpa Shetty is gearing up for her next release titled Sukhee. The trailer has released and received a lot of love from the audience. To increase the excitement level among fans, the makers have released the first song from the film Nasha. Sung by Badshah, Chakshu Kotwal and Afsana Khan, the score is composed by Badshah and Hiten. Sukhee will hit screens on September 22.
The song opens with Shilpa entering a room which is filled with her schoolmates. Everyone has gathered for a reunion. She looks pretty in red colour gown. Her friends are requesting to perform. First, she says no but then Shilpa agrees and shows her moves. Sukhee marks the directorial debut of Sonal Joshi and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, and Shikha Sharma. The film also features an ensemble cast of Amit Sadh, Kusha Kapila, and Pavleen Gujral as lead characters.

At the trailer launch event, she revealed about being skeptical to star in the same as she was not in the right headspace. Shilpa opened up on how it was her husband Raj Kundra who pushed her to do the film. The actress said, “Something had happened because of which I had decided that I wouldn’t be able to do the film. I wasn’t in that state of mind. So, I told them that perhaps right now, I’m not in that mind space so they should cast someone else. I even suggested two or three names of other actors who could be cast. I won’t name them of course. Vikram (Malhotra, producer) called me and said that whenever I was ready, they would take the film on floors. He adjusted everything and waited for eight months.”
The story revolves around a housewife who finally breaks free from her monotonous routine and goes to Delhi for her school reunion. Shilpa Shetty will soon be making her OTT debut with Rohit Shetty’s web series Indian Police Force co-starring Sidharth Malhotra.
