Shah Rukh Khan treated his fans to a huge surprise as he made an appearance at a special screening of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in Mumbai on Sunday night. The film, which marked Karan Johar’s directorial debut and also starred Kajol and Rani Mukerji, completes 25 years today, October 16.
During the event, Shah Rukh also thanked the entire cast and crew of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai for making it one of the most successful Hindi films of all time. While SRK was mentioning his co-stars from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, a person from the crowd screamed Salman Khan’s name. “Archana Puran Singh and a lot of other actors that I may have forgotten to mention. And all the juniors who made this lovely film,” SRK said. But before he could complete his speech, the fan shouted out, “Salman Bhai.”
SRK jokingly trolled the person and replied, “Wo interval ke baad aayega, abhi interval tak speech nahi hui hai meri (He comes post interval. I’m not finished yet) Chup kar! In order of appearance mention kar raha hoon main. Rani bhi tab mention karunga jab bhoot ban ke aayegi, end mein… Yes, Salman bhai and Rani, who came as a ghost in the end again. Little kids in the film who were lovely, so many of them,” SRK wittily added.
