Shah Rukh Khan Shares BIG Update On Next Film After Dunki: 'More Age-Real To Me, To Start In March'

Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki was finally released in theatres amid much anticipation on Thursday, December 21. After the mega successes of Pathaan and Jawan, the Rajkumar Hirani directorial Dunki is also well on its way to becoming a blockbuster hit. Amid the buzz around Dunki, Shah Rukh Khan recently gave a major update about his next film.

Speaking to Raya Abirached, Shah Rukh spoke about his next project and said, “I think I’ll start one in March-April now. Like I’ve been attempting now to do a film which is more age-real to me and play it still as the protagonist and the star of the film.”

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is basking in the success of Dunki. The first show at Mumbai’s Gaiety Galaxy at 5:55 am was a festive event and videos went viral on social media. Early estimates suggested that Dunki might earn around Rs 30 crore on Thursday, with morning and afternoon show occupancies at 26.45% and 21.77%, respectively, as per Sacnilk.com. The overall Hindi occupancy hovered around 24.11%.
