Rihanna has taken the internet by storm after multiple videos of her performance from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding bash surfaced on social media. In one of the videos, shared by paparazzo Viral Bhayani on his Instagram account, Rihanna can be heard thanking the Ambani family for inviting her to India. Rihanna delivered a power-packed performance at Anant-Radhika’s pre-wedding festivities. This marked Rihanna’s maiden gig in the country.
In the video, Rihanna also congratulated Anant and Radhika on their “union”. “Good evening everyone! It’s my honour to be here tonight. I have never been to India. Thanks to the Ambani family, I’m here tonight. Anant and Radhika, thank you for having me here. God bless your union. I wish you all the best. Congratulations,” Rihanna said in the video.
Several Bollywood celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur have flown down to Jamnagar for Anant and Radhika’s pre-wedding festivities. Janhvi Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are also attending the mega bash.
During the March 1-3 pre-wedding bash, Day 1 was called An Evening in Everland, with the dress code listed as “elegant cocktail”. Now, day 2 will host A Walk on the Wildside with “jungle fever” the suggested dress code. The final day will also comprise two events. The first one, Tusker Trails, suggests “casual chic” dressing, as guests are expected to further explore the green ambience of Jamnagar. The final party, Hastakshar, calls for an elegant evening with heritage Indian wear.
