Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra has been entertaining the audience for the last four years. The popular show earned an undisputed place in the audience’s hearts for its interesting plot, tickling their funny bones. The actors of the show – Vishakha Subhedar, Samir Choughule, Paddy Kamble, Arun Kadam and Namrata Sambherao – won the hearts of the audience. Reportedly, they are being paid a hefty amount per episode for their appearance in the show. Let us take a look at the fee charged by the actors per episode:
According to some media reports, Shivali Parab – who made her screen debut with Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra in 2014 – earns a remuneration of Rs 35,000 – 37000 for an episode. On the other hand, Rasika Vengurlekar gets paid Rs 25,000 -30,000 for the same. The makers of the show pay Vanita Kharat a total amount of Rs 32,000 for an episode.
Actress Namrata Sambherao, known for her acting prowess and making a name for herself in the industry despite having no grandfather, is also a part of the show. Namrata takes home a total of Rs 30,000-37,000 per episode for her appearance in this program.
Moving next to Arun Kadam, the actor is known for entertaining the audience with excellent comic timing. He is being paid around Rs 30,000 to 35,000 per episode. Actor Prasad Khandekar, celebrated for his remarkable performance in the show, bags Rs 40,000-50,000 for an episode.
Sameer Chaugule is also paid Rs 40,000-50,000 per episode. Gaurav More, one of the actors who plays a crucial role in the film, gets Rs 40,000 to 50,000 for an episode.
Arun Kadam, on the occasion of the show’s completion of 300 episodes, spoke to ETimes recently and said, “The viewers love our skits; but there is one skit where Paddy and I become school kids, and Shyam becomes a teacher (Guruji). Our famous tagline ‘Don Paav Burjila, Salute Maru Gurujila’ has created a buzz on social media. I received a few messages from my fans saying why you guys have invented that tagline, our kids do the same to their teachers (Laughs).”
