Recently, the Satyaprem Ki Katha star warmed the hearts of fans with a delightful yet amusing Instagram post featuring his furry companion, Katori. The actor shared a video playfully interacting with his dog and jokingly hinted about using child lock on YouTube. This sweet moment captured the attention of social media users.
In the humorous video, Kartik is initially engrossed in his phone and later goes on to scold his pet dog Katori in a playful manner. Unexpectedly, when Katori ignores Kartik and looks elsewhere, the situation takes a comical turn, leaving the actor in a slightly awkward situation. Kartik, caught off guard by his furry friend’s behaviour, breaks into laughter, while looking at the camera. Sharing the hilarious video, the Bhool Bhulaiya 2 star wrote, “Aaj se Katori ke liye child lock on Youtube. (From today, child lock on YouTube for Katori).”

During a Bhool Bhulaiya 2 promotional event in 2022, Kartik Aaryan revealed the intriguing backstory behind his pet dog Katori’s name. When asked about the unique name, Kartik explained, “She is Katroi Aaryan because jab woh gharpe aayi thi she looked like a bowl. Itni choti si and katori jaise hi dimag mein tha. Toh isliye katori rakh diya naam, uska haircut bhi katori jaisa hai. (She is Katori Aaryan because when she entered the house, she looked like a bowl. She was so tiny, resembling a small bowl in my mind. Hence, I named her Katori and even her haircut is bowl shaped).” However, Kartik avoided talking about Katori’s breed, as per Kiara, citing the breed’s name is challenging to pronounce.
In 2021, Kartik Aaryan introduced his beloved dog, Katori Aaryan to the public and since then, the actor has been regularly sharing adorable photos of his furry companion on Instagram. He actively manages Katori’s own Instagram account, delighting fans with glimpses into their adorable bond.
