Bigg Boss OTT 2 fame Jiya Shankar had an oops moment when she posed at the Jio MAMI Fil Festival on Friday.

Jiya Shankar, who gained prominence through her participation in Bigg Boss OTT 2, continues to be in the limelight. Throughout her journey on the show, Jiya garnered attention not just for her interactions with housemates like Avinash Sachdeva and Falaq Naaz but also for her growing bond with Abhishek Malhan, known as Fukra Insaan. Even after her departure from the Bigg Boss house, she remained in the limelight due to her music video collaboration with Abhishek titled Judaaiyyan.

A wardrobe malfunction can happen to anyone and the key is to not panic, proved Jiya. On Friday evening, the actress was photographed at the Jio Mami Film Festival. She looked stunning in a white strappy gown, but as she posed for photos, one strap slipped off her shoulders. Jiya remained graceful, swiftly pulling it up with a wide smile on her face. The paparazzi, taken aback, said, “Arre baap re!” To this, Jiya simply laughed it off, saying, “Aisa kuch nehi huya (Nothing serious has happened).” Many praised her in the comments for how gracefully she handled the situation. Check out the video:

Jiya’s journey in the entertainment industry has been marked by significant milestones. She embarked on her career with the television series Meri Hanikarak Biwi in 2017 and subsequently appeared in other notable shows such as Kaatelal & Sons and Pishachini.

Jiya achieved a major breakthrough with her role in the Marathi-language romantic drama Ved, where she starred alongside Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’souza. Prior to her participation in Bigg Boss OTT 2, she ventured into hosting.

Recently, on behalf of her fanbase, a charity organisation provided food to 100 underprivileged children and people. And Jiya was quick to react to the generous gesture in the most heartwarming way.

Thaagam Foundation — a “non-government organisation, working towards elevating the livelihoods of all living beings” took the initiative to feed the poor and needy by honouring Jiya Shankar. The organisation also arranged for a cake, feeding the underprivileged children who came together to show their love for the 28-year-old television actress.
