Bhuvan Bam will be soon in a new role as a commentator for the popular 80s Japanese game show, Takeshi’s Castle Reboot. The eight-episode series will retain the eccentricities that people saw in the original version. Earlier, Jaaved Jaaferi was seen as a commentator on the show. And today he has sent good wishes to the actor for the show. He shared the poster of the show on his Instagram stories.
Jaaved Jaaferi joined the bandwagon and took to Instagram and wrote, “Best Wishes to Bhuvan Bam and Prime Video” as he shared the recently released rib-tickling trailer! The series will premiere with eight episodes exclusively on Prime Video in India from November 2. Prime Video unveiled the trailer of the exciting Indian reboot version of ‘Takeshi’s Castle’. In the trailer, Bhuvan Bam is seen as Titu Mama and he is abducted by the Yakuza gang to whom he is indebted and is coerced into dubbing his voice for the Hindi version of the show.

Commenting on his involvement in the iconic show, Bhuvan Bam said, “Since the original version of Takeshi’s Castle was on television, I have been an ardent fan of the concept, execution and the hilarity of the game show. It’s highly nostalgic for me to have grown up seeing the show and now voicing it, is genuinely a full circle moment. I don’t think there is anyone in my generation who hasn’t loved and enjoyed this madcap comedy. Being a part of this incredible game show is a privilege and an honour.”
“As an entertainer, my viewers have always appreciated the unique yet relatable characters that I’ve portrayed, and I am happy to bring a bit of my creative self as ‘Titu Mama’. I am hopeful that the younger generation will love this show as much as we did,” he added.
