Hrithik Roshan Calls The Archies ‘Light Hearted’, Praises Zoya Akhtar And The New Brigade

Zoya Akhtar’s adaptation of the American comic The Archies is now streaming on Netflix. The film stars a young batch of actors, including Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Dot, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, and Yuvraj Menda. The movie is a one-of-a kind musical that boasts a story rooted in environmental awareness and teenage bonds of friendship and love. Prior to the release, Netflix and the team of The Archies organised a special screening. Some of the most popular faces in the industry attended the event. Among them was Hrithik Roshan, who came along with his girlfriend, actress Saba Azad, and was all praise for the movie.

Hrithik Roshan seemed quite impressed by the movie and took to his Instagram handle to share his thoughts. He wrote, “It was a fun night! Watched Archies and came out dancing! Such a light hearted cloud of love this movie is. Our very best wishes to the entire cast and crew! Especially the new brigade! All star actors’ one n all. Love you Zoya. (gimme a chance too please) The music, cinematography and choreography deserves to be mentioned. Bravo. Congrats Netflix. Well done to you too..” The actor also shared a picture from the screening night posing with Saba in front of a The Archies special vintage car. Saba looked stunning in a floral pink dress, while Hrithik looked dashing in a black shirt and striped trousers.

At the event, the duo arrived together, donning bright smiles and holding each other’s hands. Last year, Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad made their relationship official during Karan Johar’s 50th birthday bash. Hrithik was previously married to Sussanne Khan. After nearly 14 years together, the couple split up.

On the other hand, Hrithik Roshan will soon be seen in ” Fighter” along with Deepika Padukone. The duo will appear on screen together for the first time and fans are quite excited about this collaboration. The film, directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Viacom18 Studios in conjunction with Marflix Pictures is expected to make a mark with its star cast and intriguing storyline. The action film also raises expectations since it is the third collaboration between Siddharth and Hrithik, who have previously delivered blockbusters such as Bang Bang (2014) and War (2019). The film will be released on January 25, 2024, the eve of India’s 75th Republic Day.
