Actress Pooja Sawant, who is best known for her role in the 2015 blockbuster hit Dagadi Chawl, has recently gotten engaged to her partner Siddesh Chavan. In a recent media interaction, Pooja opened up about her love story, which is currently garnering everyone’s attention. In the interview, talking about her marriage, she said, “My love story is very different. I didn’t think things would come together so quickly. It is an arranged marriage set up by our families.” She further said that she came to know about Siddesh from her mother’s friend. Pooja liked him the first time she saw his picture. After this, her mother requested her to talk to him, and they started talking.
Pooja Sawant further shared that although they started talking, it took a long time for both of them to fall in love with each. After spending a lot of time together, Pooja finally felt from the bottom of her heart that she should marry this boy. Many people asked Pooja why she kept this relationship a secret for so long. She said that both of them needed time to understand each other. After this, Pooja Sawant also said when they both finally decided to get engaged, they told their respective families. Then, they finally decided to disclose it to everyone.
Pooja also disclosed her marriage plans. She said, “Currently, both families are in talks. We will decide on the marriage when both of us are comfortable.”

Pooja made her last appearance in the sequel to her 2015 film Daagadi Chawl 2. It was produced by Sangeeta Ahir under the banner of Sangeeta Ahir Moviez and directed by Chandrakant Kanse. The film also stars Ankush Chaudhari and Makarand Deshpande in pivotal roles.
