Anil Kapoor is one of the most seasoned actors of Bollywood. With his recent release Animal, he has impressed everyone with his acting chops. Ahead of his next film Fighter starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor addressed his last year’s case against AI and lauded Amitabh Bachchan’s effort to safeguard his identity against misuse.

During an interview with CNN, Anil Kapoor stated, “You have to protect the bodywork, the kind of person you have, your family and yourself. I didn’t take the lead. I think it was Amitabh Bachchan who took the lead in this. I took a step further. Obviously, there’s a long way ahead and I’ll keep on doing my best, fighting for my rights as a human being, actor, person, citizen of this country India, as well as the entire planet.”

For the unversed, Anil Kapoor emerged victorious in a lawsuit to safeguard his personality rights comprising name, voice, image, likeness, manner of speaking, gestures etc. It also included his famous catchphrase ‘Jhakaas’ that the Delhi High Court restrained others from using it for commercial purposes.

He added, “A late birthday post for Anil Kapoor (& always timely appreciation post for Sonam Kapoor & Anil Kapoor) I saw the prep for Fighter and while hardwork & results often correlate, the fact is that success is largely out of our control. Our only focus remains on the work and the age old certainty that the reward for hardwork is more hardwork… Always Happy Anil Kapoor (Love you lots Sonam Kapoor).”

Sonam didn’t hold back in expressing her affection for her two favourite people. The actress wrote, “Love you both the most.”

On the other hand, Sonam Kapoor also posted a heartfelt message on her father’s birthday. She posted a few pictures on her Instagram and gave her fans a glimpse of the sweet time the actor spent with her, her son Vayu, and sister Rhea Kapoor. In the caption, Sonam wrote, “Happy Birthday Dad! The world knows you as the evergreen Superstar who never ages and our industry knows you as the most consistent, hardworking, and talented actor of the last four generations, but for your family, you’re the best husband, father, and grandfather, who leads by example of openness, hard work, gratitude, and love. There is no one like you. You are the best in the world.”
