The Final Trailer for Venom: The Last Dance was recently released, promising an exciting yet terrifying end for Eddie Brock and Venom as symbiote monsters and Eldritch Gods hunt them. With excitement and hype for the final installation at an all-time high, here are the 5 key points from the Final Trailer of Venom: The Last Dance.
Venomised Fish
After the first trailer revealed the Venom-ised horse, speculation was rife as to whether fans could see even more Venom-ised animals. In a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shot from the trailer, we can see that Venom has taken over a fish as he attempts to escape his pursuers.
Symbiotes on the Run
The trailer of Venom: The Last Dance is quick to establish that the Symbiotes are on Earth for one major reason; they’re on the run. Much like in the comics, it is alluded that the symbiotes are on the run from the Eldritch God of symbiotes and have taken refuge on Earth.
Xenophages in Action
While the first trailer gave us a glimpse of the Xenophages, the second trailer goes all out, giving fans a full reveal of the Xenophages in all their menacing glory. Canonically, the Xenophages are known for hunting symbiotes, and in this case, Venom seems to be their latest prey.
Flashes of Venoms Home World
For the first time in the Venom Franchise, we see a glimpse of Venom’s home world, giving fans a view of where Venom and the rest of the symbiotes originate from, where the Xenophages have now taken residence along with the creator of the symbiotes.
We Meet Knull
Arguably the most exciting scenes in the trailer are when we finally see Knull, the creator of the symbiote, and the Eldritch God of Darkness. In the comics, Knull was an unstoppable force that threatened to take over the Universe but was eventually captured and trapped by the very symbiotes he created. Ages later, he escaped and threatened the Universe once again until he was eventually stopped by Eddie Brock and Venom. It will be interesting to see how Venom: The Last Dance adapts this storyline and the consequences this battle will have for the Universe as a whole.
