Kareena Kapoor Khan is gearing up for her next mystery thriller, The Buckingham Murders. The film is all set for release on September 13. Before the release, Kareena shared a series of BTS photos on social media. She gave fans a glimpse of shooting in all weather. Recently, the trailer was also released.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Kareena shared photos and wrote, “Shooting in every weather. PS: Hot bag to the rescue, haha! #7DaysToGo #TheBuckinghamMurders in cinemas on 13th September.” In the photos, we can see Kareena Kapoor battling severe cold and holding a hot bag. The photos went viral and fans were seen reacting to it. One o the fans wrote, “Such a magical look.” Many dropped heart emojis in the comment section.

Recently, the trailer was released. The video opened with Kareena Kapoor’s investigating the case. She is seen interrogating about a child who has murdered mysteriously. The actress is looking tough as she gets into deeper in solving the case. Kareena will impress you with her performance. It also stars Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen.

Ahead of the trailer launch, Kareena shared a lot of photos from the film. During a recent discussion on Netflix’s The Actors’ Roundtable 2023, Kareena Kapoor shared insights into her role in the upcoming film, The Buckingham Murders. Revealing key details, she disclosed that her character is a grieving mother in the movie. The narrative unfolds with a tragic incident in the opening scene where her character’s child is shot, prompting her transformation into a detective. Fleeing her hometown, she arrives in another, where she grapples with the complexities of the case assigned to her.

Kareena Kapoor said, “I think I loved playing that part because this is the first time I am playing a detective, and I am a huge crime drama fan.” While the actress admitted that playing the role was difficult since the character’s grief made her uncomfortable it also gave her a lot of joy to play it. She added, “It’s a career-defining role for me and one of my best characters.” Kareena mentioned that she asked the director to make it a four part series since she did not want to let go of the character.

The Buckingham Murders garnered acclaim from the crowd at its global premiere at the BFI London Film Festival 2023. It was also screened at the 2023 Mumbai Film Festival at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in October.
