Days after Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot, the newlyweds are enjoying some romantic time together. On Tuesday, the Bollywood actress took to her Instagram stories to share a couple of photos from their honeymoon. In the pictures, Sonakshi was seen enjoying in a swimming pool while enjoying the sunset with the love of her life.
The first picture featured Sonakshi and Zaheer taking a selfie as they spent time in a pool. Another photo showcased Sonakshi sitting on an edge while Zaheer was holding her. Even though Sonakshi did not mention anything in the caption, the pictures screamed love. Check out here:
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot on June 23. The couple hosted an intimate ceremony at the former’s Bandra residence. After their wedding, Sonakshi shared some pictures on social media and penned down a strong note. “Whattttt a day!!!! The love, the laughter, the togetherness, the excitement, the warmth, the support from every one of our friends, families and teams… it was like the universe came together for two people in love to give them exactly what they’ve always hoped, wished and prayed for If this is not divine intervention… we don’t know what is We are both truly blessed to have each other and so much love protecting us,” she wrote.
Later, the Bollywood actress took to her Instagram handle to drop the wedding video which shared several glimpses of their civil marriage. In the clip, Sonakshi and Zaheer participate in the wedding rituals as their family members and friends cheer for them. Sonakshi’s parents Shatrughan and Poonam were also seen standing by her side.
Sonakshi and Zaheer dated for seven years before taking their relationship to the next level. While they got hitched in an intimate ceremony, the couple hosted a grand reception for their friends from the film industry. Several celebrities including Salman Khan, Kajol, Vidya Balan, Rekha, Huma Qureshi, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aditya Roy Kapur, Tabu and Anil Kapoor, among others attended Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s star-studded reception.
