New Delhi: The Social Justice Ministry will organize a short film competition to raise awareness on making public places accessible for the differently-abled, an official statement said.
The ministry is inviting applications in three categories -- short documentaries of up to 30 minutes, short films of up to 5 minutes, and TV spots of up to 50 seconds.
The last date for application submission is August 8. The participants may submit their entries shoot with any electronic device in HD (High Definition)format only, the statement said.
The 'Short Film Competition on Divyangjan Sashaktikaran- 2017' is being organized in collaboration with the Information and Broadcasting Ministry.
The competition will carry first and second prize of Rs 5,00,000 and Rs 3,00,000 respectively in short documentary and TV Spots categories. The short film category will carry only one prize of Rs 4,00,000 for each scheme.
The participants may download the application form along with authorization letter and rules and regulations from www.disabilityaffairs.gov.in and www.dff.gov.in. The award function is likely to be held in September, at Siri Fort Auditorium here. PTI PLB BSA ZMN BSA 07171746.
