Pop star Britney Spears is in the spotlight again, this time due to her alleged relationship with Paul Soliz. According to claims made by Soliz’s mother-in-law, Sandra Smith, he has reportedly moved three of his children into Britney’s home. During an interview on the Drew Lane Show, Smith stated that the family is trying to regain custody of the children. This development comes just days after Soliz’s wife, Nicole Mancilla, filed for divorce after eight years of marriage. Smith further alleged that Soliz has failed to provide child support for his children, despite attempting to move them into Spears’ residence.
Speaking with the host, Smith said, “He took three of the kids, we’re trying to get those kids back. He’s sending me to court for domestic violence and restraining order, I go, ‘Excuse me?’ I don’t even talk to him, it’s crazy. One day he took four kids and he brought them for a couple of hours to the house and I kept the baby girl because he has never bonded with that little girl for two years and now he’s sending me to court with lies.”
When the host, Drew Lane said, “Britney Spears can’t stand her own kids living in her house let alone someone else’s kids, this is not going to last,” Sandra Smith agreed and added, “She says she wanted all of them, she wants that little girl too, I go, ‘I don’t think so.’ We’re just trying to regain the three boys back, he took them a month ago and it’s like we’re still trying. He’s just, I don’t know, it’s not fair to send me to court. It’s terrible but I’ll be there, there’s no way of getting around. I have proofs of everything, I don’t fear anything. He says that I stressed him out because I called him a deadbeat dad and I’ll say it over again he is.”
Sandra Smith further explained that Paul Soliz may not accept that he is still married, but they have the official marriage certificate from Nevada to prove it. She also provided details about Soliz’ family, stating that he has two children from his first marriage, four with her daughter, Nicole Mancilla and two sets of ‘quins.’
Britney Spears, who separated from Sam Asghari in 2022, was first linked with Paul Soliz in September 2023, and their relationship has remained unstable since then. As per court records from the Los Angeles County Support Services, obtained by Page Six in May, Soliz has been asked to pay $1,167 (approximately Rs 98000) each month in child support. He is also responsible for covering half of the healthcare expenses for his children, Trystan, Dylan and Violet.
