There is a piece of exciting news for young individuals aspiring to join the police force. The Uttarakhand Police is set to recruit 2,000 constables, offering a significant opportunity for those seeking a career in law enforcement.

The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) is expected to announce the recruitment drive for the police department later this month. The commission is currently working on finalizing the preparations for the recruitment process.

In addition to the Uttarakhand Police Department’s recruitment drive, there will be hiring for over 200 additional positions across various other departments, including the recruitment of 600 constables in the forest department. The notification for these positions is expected to be released this month.

The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission has already announced a recruitment drive for a total of 751 vacancies, which includes 465 vacant posts for Junior Assistants under the Group C category. These opportunities will provide a wide range of employment options for individuals seeking to work in different sectors within the state.

The recruitment process for 2,000 constables in the Uttarakhand Police is set to begin with the physical test that is scheduled for January 1, 2025, followed by the written exam on June 15. According to Commission Chairman GS Martolia, the official recruitment notification will be released this month.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be between 18 and 23 years of age to apply. However, age relaxations are provided for specific categories, including OBC, SC, ST, and ex-servicemen. They must have passed the intermediate examination or its equivalent from an institution affiliated with the Uttarakhand School Education Council.

A wave of recruitment opportunities is set to take place in Uttarakhand in the coming days. This includes 21 vacancies for primary teachers in the Tribal Welfare Department, with the written examination scheduled for February 23, 2025. Additionally, the written exam for 38 vacant posts of Assistant Development Officer in the Cooperative Department will be conducted on March 9 next year. The recruitment exam for six posts requiring a Library Science qualification is set for March 23, while the exam for 200 vacant Forest Inspector positions will take place on April 20.
