The whole country is engrossed in the enthusiastic celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi, which commenced on September 6, Friday. Prominent Marathi actor Swwapnil Joshi is no exception, the actor celebrated the day in his unique way, garnering love from his followers. Let us take a look.
The now-viral video was shared by the official X account of News18 Lokmat, capturing the actor immersed in the celebrations of the day. The 38-second clip shows Swwapnil entering his place, carrying the Lord Ganesha idol with great care and love. All the while, he chanted, “Morya Re Bappa Morya Re,” with visible love and devotion to the god. The actor then placed the Lord Ganesh Idol on the stunning platform, specially built for the god in homes for the festival.

For the occasion, the actor has opted to wear a light-yellow kurta printed with red dots, paired with a white pyjama and traditional cap. He is surrounded by family members as well as kids, all immersed in chanting “Morya Re Bappa Morya Re,” collectively.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Swwapnil Joshi shared a new post celebrating the second day of the Ganesh Chaturthi occasion, capturing him engaged in the worship of the god. As the priest completes the worship, the actor takes the Puja thali and continues the prayer and the chant. He is seen wearing a dark, beautifully embroidered kurta with a white pyjama. The Ganesh Idol being worshipped seems to be created from silver, glinting in enthusiastic celebrations.
Currently, Swwapnil Joshi is busy with the promotions of his upcoming Navra Maza Navsacha 2, a comedy-drama. It is being directed by Sachin Pilgaonkar, who is also its writer. The film stars Sachin Pilgaonkar, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Hemal Ingle, Swwapnil Joshi, Ashok Saraf and Siddharth Jadhav. It is being produced by Sachin Pilgaonkar under the banner of Sushriya Chitra and is expected to be released on September 20.
