For the unversed, Krishnam Raju was not only Prabhas’ guide in the film industry but also his uncle. The actor-turned-politician, who was often referred to as Rebel Star, died on September 11, 2022. He was 82. It was reported that he suffered from bacterial and fungal pneumonia and had a cardiac arrest. He was admitted at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology Hospitals in Hyderabad, India for almost a month. Several stars from the Telugu film industry attended the funeral, with many also seen consoling a distraught Prabhas.
On the other hand, Ramoji Rao died earlier this month. He was undergoing treatment at the city’s Star Hospital and took his last breath on June 8. He was 87. His mortal remains were shifted to his residence at Ramoji Film City. Several prominent political leaders and film personalities had attended his funeral.
About Kalki 2898 AD:
Directed by Nag Ashwin, it features Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani. The trailer suggests a futuristic take on the Mahabharat. The story begins in Kaashi, a land rich in resources, ruled by Saswata Chatterjee’s character, who demands complete loyalty. A prophecy reveals a child will overthrow him, and this child is carried by Deepika Padukone’s character. To protect his reign, the king puts a bounty on her head.
