'Jethalal' Dilip Joshi Pens Emotional Note As Kush Shah Quits TMKOC: 'Wishing You The Best'
On Friday, the makers of TMKOC issued a video in which Kush Shah confirmed his exit from the show.

Dilip Joshi, known for playing the role of Jethalal Champaklal Gada in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, took to his Instagram stories to pen down an emotional note for Kush Shah. On Friday, it was announced that Kush Shah has left TMKOC and will no longer be playing Goli in Asit Kumarr Modi’s show.

Dilip Joshi dropped one of his scenes with Kush Shah from the show and wished him luck. “Jokes apart, I have enjoyed every scene I’ve done with you. Wishing you the best! May you continue to spread smiles! Looking forward to seeing you go far like a bandook ki ‘Goli’ now!” Check it out here:

On Friday, the makers of TMKOC issued a video in which Kush Shah confirmed his exit from the show and said, “When this show started, when you and I first met, I was very young. You have given me a lot of love since then. And this family has given me as much love as you have given me. I have made a lot of memories here. I have enjoyed a lot here. I have spent my childhood here and most importantly I want to thank the creator of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Mr. Asit Kumar Modi for this journey. He trusted me so much, made my character so interesting and always inspired me. Because of his trust, Kush became Goli today.”

Rumours of Kush Shah quitting Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah first made headlines in June this year after a fan shared a picture online with the actor and revealed he bumped into the young star in New York. The fan claimed Kush told him that he had left TMKOC and was in New York to pursue further studies. “Out of nowhere, I found Kush Shah aka Goli in New York, while on my way to the Statue of Liberty. He told me that he has left the show and is pursuing his studies in New York,” the post read as quoted by ETimes, and left many shocked. However, the user also deleted the picture later from his Facebook handle.

TMKOC has been running on television for over 16 years now. Kush is not the first actor to leave the popular sitcom. Previously, several other actors including Disha Vakani, Bhavya Gandhi, Gurucharan Singh, Shailesh Lodha, Neha Mehta, Jennifer Mistry and Raj Anadkat also left the show.
