He’s at it again. Social media adept and generally media darling, Ranveer Singh is known for his engagement with both the industry he’s in and the fans that it has. Whenever he, or even his friends in Bollywood, have a movie coming out, you can be pretty sure that the actor will pull some sort of promotional stunt, which soon goes viral.
The latest film to feel this largess is the upcoming Mubarakan, which stars Arjun Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz. Ranveer and Arjun’s close friendship dates back to their Gunday co-starring days and has become even stronger since their infamous roast and beyond. So it was only a matter of time before Ranveer promoted his buddy’s film.
He did this in a Instagram video in which he romances, or at least attempts to romance, Ileana to the musical backdrop of Hawa Hawa, a song from Mubarakan. Alas, Ileana is having none of it, her loyalties clearly lying with Arjun, as she rebuffs Ranveer’s enthusiastic wooing with equally enthusiastic kicks and blows to him, and probably his ego. While Arjun isn’t in the video, his movie and its music has clearly got a boost. Thanks Ranveer!
