Months after Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol parted ways following an intense dating drama, the Gyeongseong Creature star once again found herself amid questions about her tumultuous romance. During a recent press conference, Han So Hee was asked about her relationship with Ryu Jun Yeol, which also involved Hyeri. Choosing to maintain silence on it, the actress gracefully brushed off the questions, stating that her professional and personal matters should not be mixed.
It was during the press conference of Gyeongseong Creature Season 2 that the entire cast interacted with the media directly. As she was asked about her relationship with Ryu Jun Yeol being “transit love,” Han So Hee cleared the speculations with a straightforward response. “I don’t think my personal affairs should interfere with my public ones. I hope you will enjoy and have fun watching Season 2,” she said.
While this marks the first time that the actress has spoken on the topic in front of the media, Ryu previously addressed the controversy during the press conference for The 8 Show. “I felt it was best to remain silent and endure the criticism rather than attempting to correct the misinformation about my personal life spread on social media,” he said in May this year.

According to the Korean media, Ryu Jun Yeol and Lee Hyeri were in an 8-year-long relationship after growing close on the show, Reply 1988. Fans adored the duo, even dubbing them the power couple. However, their sudden breakup news left fans heartbroken. Things only got worse after a leaked picture showed Ryu Jun Yeol with Han So Hee in Hawaii, with many suggesting that their alleged dating timeline coincided with his breakup with Hyeri.
Despite denying all the claims made by fans online, Han So Hee was soon seen getting into an Instagram feud with Hyeri, with both actresses taking jabs at each other. Later, while Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol confirmed dating each other, their love was short-lived, even causing some long-lasting career fallouts for the actress.
Presently, on the work front, Han So Hee is back with the second season of Netflix’s Gyeongseong Creature alongside Park Seo Joon.
