A video of the actor is going viral on social media, where he is captured in a rather unamused state as he is asked his opinion on politics. It is a translated snippet of the interaction between the superstar and a reporter, as he is arriving at the Chennai Airport. The actor, walking through a crowd of excited reporters, asking him details of Vettaiyan and the audio launch event. The first reporter asks, “Sir, who all are expected to attend the Vettaiyan audio launch today?” He answers simply, “I am not sure sir.”

He remains calm and composed, sporting a kind smile for the crowd. Then, a reporter questions him mentioning Udhayanidhi Stalin, former actor and DMK President. He reportedly asks, “Sir, Udhayanidhi Stalin is expected to swear in as Deputy CM, what is your view?” At that moment, the superstar seems to lose his cool for a moment and replies with, “Don’t ask me political questions. I’ve told you before,” setting the record straight.
