The eighth edition of the reality show Bigg Boss Telugu is currently creating a buzz in the entertainment industry. South star Nagarjuna returned as the host of the show for the sixth time in a row. The theme of the show is Infinite, which pertains to limitless possibilities. It is airing on Star Maa. There are a total of 14 contestants who entered on the first day of the show. Two of them have already been evicted from the house. Bebakka was eliminated in the first week, while Shekar was evicted by the housemates. As the show entered its third week, eight contestants have been nominated. It includes Yashi Gowda, Prerna, Seetha, Vishnupriya, Nainika, Naga Mankantha, Prithviraj and Abhay Neveen. As per the reports, Yashmi Gowda and Kirrak Seetha are in a close contest for elimination. Yashmi Gowda is known for her appearances in the fantasy television series Naga Bhairavi and the drama series Krishan Mukunda Murari. Bigg Boss is also known for twists and surprises. It is believed that Bigg Boss makers will put Yashmi in a secret room, if she is eliminated this week. It has been done in the past few seasons of the show across different languages.
An online poll conducted by OneIndia to gauge audience sentiment shows Vishnupriya leading the pack with 55,521 votes (24%) for her survival. She is followed by Manikanta with 40,307 votes (18%), Nainika with 24,706 votes (11%), and Prerana with 22,155 votes (10%). Meanwhile, Prithviraj (21,584 votes), Abhai Naveen (21,439 votes), Kirrak Seetha (21,435 votes), and Yashmi (21,332 votes) are locked in a close contest, each receiving 9 percent of the votes as of 11 AM today.
This year’s Bigg Boss Telugu is full of controversies and fights. Recently, a conflict arose between Visnu Priya and Sonia where the latter accused the dressing sense of causing discomfort to the male contestants. It rose into an argument soon after the nomination last week.
