Director Indrajit Lankesh is launching his son Samarjit Lankesh with his upcoming film Gowri. Recently, the pre-release teaser of the film has been unveiled. Cricketer Anil Kumble and producer Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar have launched the teaser of the film. The teaser gives a sneak peek of Samarjit Lankesh’s character. In the film Gowri, he will be seen in a titular role.
So far, the video has garnered over 727,135 views and is still counting more. Several social media users have commented on the video.

The plot of the film revolves around real-life events. Set in a village backdrop, Gowri stars Priyanka Upendra, V Ravichandran, and Manasi Sudhir in the leading roles. In the film, Samarjit is set to portray a raw and rustic character hailing from the grassroots. The director has also shared some stills of Samarjit from the movie.
While Samarjit Lankesh did a few stunts in the movie. Noted Kannada and Bollywood stunt master Ravi Varma is behind the choreography of the action scenes portrayed in a teaser.
Indrajit shared that there are unique reasons behind Anil Kumble launching the pre-teaser. He explained that his son Samarjit had previously worked with Kumble on a soap ad, and he was keen on having the cricketer present his pre-release teaser.
The film will be the launchpad for Saniya Iyer, who previously worked in television. Sweezal is also making her debut in this movie. They will act alongside Chandu Gowda and others. Fight scenes for Gowri will be choreographed by Different Danny, while AJ Shetty will be handling the cinematography. The film’s music is being composed by several music directors, including Jassie Gift and Chandan Shetty.
