New Delhi: In the very first of its kind, the 27th edition of Amazon India Fashion Week witnessed an accessory show on Friday. Needless to say, AIFW has been surprising us since day 2, but wait, it just keeps getting better!
Mine of Design presented by Sahai Ambar Pariddi, Valliyan by Nitya and Vasundhara added more than just shimmer and shine to the runway. From coral shells to iridescent pearls; Sahai Ambar’s ‘Memoir’ spoke volumes about the magic of the sea. It was just mesmerizing to see varied hues of colors spreading such beauty on the ramp. Coming up next was Valluyan by Nitya that showcased ‘Modern Mughals’ paying homage to Mughal dynasty. Taking the audience by surprise, the line presented intricate motifs with a contemporary touch to each of it. Third in line came Vasundhara’s ‘Au Naturel’ that presented versatility in itself. Talk about wilderness, this collection had it all. From insects, bugs to natural rocks and twigs; every naturesque element was presented in elaborated version.
It’s refreshing to see something other than clothing and footwear to be presented on the ramp with such grace. Here are some of the best moments from the jewelry show.
