In a recent interview with Star News, a close associate of Kim Sae-ron shared some insights into the actress’s current mental state, suggesting that she is facing challenges that are weighing heavily on her. According to the associate, there seems to be a story behind their much-talked-about photo and it is too intricate to be shared openly at this time. The associate, who is known for having a strong bond with Kim Sae-Ron, hinted that the actress, 23, is going through a difficult time.
“Kim Sae-ron is going through a hard time. It seems there is a complicated story (regarding the photo) that she can’t talk about. She’s mulling over what to reveal in her statement,” said Kim Sae-ron’s acquaintance, as reported by Koreaboo.
The photo in question and the controversy related to it began when Kim Sae-ron posted a selfie on her Instagram account at around 1 a.m. on the 24th of March. According to Koreabo, the photo showed her in an affectionate pose, touching cheeks with Kim Soo-Hyun, who is 12 years her senior and was once a member of the same agency. Despite being deleted within 3 minutes, the image quickly spread across online platforms, sparking rumours of a romantic relationship between the two.
Responding to the rumours, actor Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, swiftly issued a statement denying the dating rumours, stating that the photos circulating online were from a time when both actors were part of the same agency and that Kim Sae-ron’s intentions behind the post were unknown.
Despite the agency’s denial, Kim Sae-Ron faced criticism from fans of Kim Soo-Hyun, both domestically and internationally, on her Instagram account.
In a subsequent interview with My Daily, Kim Sae-Ron revealed that she is preparing a statement regarding the viral photo. She stated, “I am preparing my statement. Once I finish, I will release it,” reports Koreaboo.
Meanwhile, Kim Soo-hyun has been receiving a lot of praise and acclaim for his role as Baek Hyun Woo in the recently released tvN drama titled Queen of Tears.
