In 2013, Ku Jagat Singh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Zahida Khan of INC by a margin of 3,357 votes which was 2.11% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 46.88% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Zahida of INC won this seat beating Nasru Khan of BJP by a margin of 7,865 votes which was 6.47% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 47.2% in the seat.
