Working for solution, says Sonia

CHENNAI: UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi has reassured DMK chief M Karunanidhi that the government was working with all the parties to find a solution to the Lankan issue.Her letter dated March 15, which landed in the DMK party office, was released to the media on Monday. The letter said that the government was fully aware of the important issues involved and reassured Karunanidhi that the government had taken a note of his concerns on the Sri Lanka issue.Karunanidhi’s letter dated March 9, demanded that the Centre should support the US sponsored resolution, censuring Sri Lanka in the ongoing session of UNHRC in Geneva.
