Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda is looking for a bride.
Koda, whose first marriage lasted for four months, on Thursday said he wants to marry a woman who is sympathetic and understanding.
Koda said he agreed to marry again to honour his father's wishes. "I am in search of a girl who can understand others pain and feelings," he said.
Koda said he had never thought of his personal life and it was not important to get married, as many bachelors like him were serving the society.
Koda on Thusday moved into his official residence after performing a Griha Pravesh prayer. He said his father, brother and sisters, who attended the ceremony, would soon return home to their village as they find it difficult to adjust to city life.
Union Coal Minister Sibu Soren, Union Minister of State for Food Processing Subodh Kant Sahai and Koda's ministerial colleagues were present on the occasion.
The 35-year-old Chief Minister, under fire from the Opposition parties for delaying his government, said the Cabinet next expansion would be done after Durga Puja celebrations.
