Vasanthotsavam concludes

TIRUMALA: The three-day spectacular annual Vasanthotsavams concluded at Vasantha Mandapam, here on Friday.The uniqueness of this festival is that on the last day, along with processional idols of Lord Malayappa Swamy, Sridevi, Bhudevi, utsava murthies of Lord Sri Rama accompanied by Lakshamana, Sita and Anjaneya besides Sri Krishna and Rukmini Devi were also given celestial bath-Snapana Tirumanjanam. Later in the evening, all these idols were taken out in a colourful procession through four mada streets. TTD top brass and pilgrims on payment of `300 each, have taken part in this colourful festival. TTD cancelled arjitha sevas like Kalyanotsavam, Arjitha Brahmotsavam, Unjal Seva, Sahasra Deepalankara Seva and Poornami Garuda Seva following this annual festival.
