BANGALORE: State JD(S) president H D Kumaraswamy has offered to undergo narco analysis or lie-detector test in order prove that Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa indeed lured him to buy his silence.“I reiterate that Yeddyurappa sought to buy my silence by promising cash and other benefits, including future political alliances. While I am not going back on my stance of taking pledge in front of Lord Manjunathaswamy in Dharmasthala, I am also offering to undergo liedetector test or narco analyais,” Kumaraswamy addressed the media here on Monday. He said he could not remain silent when the BJP government was looting the state. “I am unable to understand why the chief minister wants the entire family to be present when we both take pledge in the temple at Dharmasthala,” he said and added, “as announced earlier, I will reach Dharmasthala on June 26 and be ready for the event.” On the reported statements made by the seer of Sanehalli mutt, Kumaraswamy said he was pained by the adverse remarks made by the seer. “Perhaps, somebody must have given wrong information to the seer. I will continue to serve the people irrespective of whether I am in power or not,” he added. The former CM wanted to know from senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley what his comments are about Yeddyurappa’s lack of faith in the judiciary.“The chief minister has insulted the judiciary by saying that he has no faith. I am sure the Governor will look into the advertisements given by the government in which the CM has insulted the judiciary. Yeddyurappa has lost his moral right to continue in office,” Kumaraswamy said.
