Tri-party road blockade on March 23

PUDUCHERRY: The CPI, MDMK, VCK, Nam Thamilar Iyakkam, Periyar Dravida Kazhagam and other political outfits have jointly decided to resort to road blockade on March 23 urging the centre to support the US backed resolution against Sri Lanka, for human rights violation,  at the UNHRC meeting at Geneva on March 23. R Viswanathan, CPI National council member said that this decision was taken at a joint meeting of the party on Monday. The agitation will be held at Rajiv Gandhi square, Indira Gandhi square, Bahour and Villianur and would begin with black flag demonstration.  They would also give moral support to AIADMK on the bandh, though they would not directly participate.
