Traffic curbs in city from 7 am to 9 pm

KOCHI: The Kochi Metro Rail Limited has announced  traffic regulations in the city between 7 am to 9 pm prior to the reconstruction of North Railway Overbridge.All vehicles except buses will have to go from Palarivattom to Thammanam junction to reach Chittoor Road via Thammanam-Pulleppady Road. Then they should take the Doraiswami Road or CP Ummer Road and Rajaji Road to enter MG Road.  From Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium, the vehicles towards the city should take left via the road beside the stadium to reach Karanakkodam Junction and Kaloor-Kathrikkadavu road.From there the vehicles should head for C P Ummer Road via Pulleppady bridge. From there turn right to go to Krishnaswamy Road to enter MG Road. The vehicles can take C P Ummer Road and Rajaji Road to enter MG Road as well.EXIT FROM THE CITYAll up-town vehicles except the service buses that ply via Shanmugham road, Banerji road and North ROB should enter Mathai Manjooran Road from the High Court junction. Those from Kacherippady should take Ayyappankavu and Pachalam railway gate route to reach Pottakuzhi. From there, turn left to reach Elamakkara road and to Edappally. Those to Kaloor side can go there from the Elamakkara road.Turn right from Kacherippady Junction to Chittoor Road go down Pullepady bridge and turn left to enter Bund Road. Then, take the road next to the St Francis Church Road and take a left cut to Kaloor. If they want to go to Kadavanthra side, they can take the right cut.All the vehicles coming through MG Road and North ROB side should take C P Ummer Road via Pulleppady Bridge and take the Bund Road.
