Toll plaza vandalised by locals in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A mob of locals vandalised a toll plaza and set the booth on fire in Bengaluru after a local was allegedly manhandled by the staff.

The incident reportedly took place after an argument between a local and the toll plaza staff. The local refused to pay the toll fare claiming he had a pass. He alleged that the staff assaulted him after which he gathered others, vandalised the toll plaza and set a counter to fire.

Police had to resort to lathicharge to disperse the crowd.
