JAIPUR: Three persons, including a two-year-old girl child, died when a truck hit the motorcycle in which they were travelling on NH-215 on Friday night. The incident occurred near Ragadi square under Korei police limits on Panikoili-Rajamunda national highway.The deceased have been identified as Binod Behari Sahu (31), his daughter Guddy (2) of Ambulapura village and Jayanti Rout (25), a relative of Binod.They were on their way to a local market from their native village when a truck hit their two-wheeler. While Binod and Jayanti died on the spot, the seriously injured child succumbed at the hospital.Bodies were sent to the government hospital at Danagadi for postmortem on Saturday. Truck fled from the scene after the mishap. Police have registered a case.
