SRIKAKULAM: Three persons died and another sustained severe injuries when two country-made bombs exploded at Bhagavandaspeta village in the district. According to reports, the incident occurred when a poacher D Suryanarayana (30) was carrying the bombs to store in his house. The bombs are used for killing wild animals. Two of the bombs fell down from his hands and exploded killing three   persons - Suryanarayana, Latha and Meena and injuring K Tamaiah.Police shifted the injured to Rajiv Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Srikakulam town. Meena died while undergoing treatment. A case has been registered and investigation is on. Sources said poachers in the district have been using country-made bombs to kill wild pigs in the forests for their meat which is in great demand in the area.
