This 11-year-old Bengal Cricketer, Selected For An England Tour, Impresses Coaches
Sanlap Bose, who played in the U-13 CAB, was selected to play in England. As the youngest player, he is playing as an all-rounder.

Saurav Ganguly is one of the Indian cricketers who made India proud through his captaincy and batting skills. Hailing from Bengal, the state has been in search of a similar prodigy. In such a situation, a talented player from Bengal is now garnering headlines with his masterclass play at England’s Lord’s Stadium. Another surprising fact is that the boy is only 11 years old.

After watching the batting skills on the field at this age, many cricket coaches are also expressing their desire to see this young cricketer in the Indian team in the coming days. The name of the boy is Sanlap Bose and is a resident of New Town in West Bengal. He is currently on an England tour to play cricket.

Sanlap Bose, who played in the U-13 CAB, was selected to play in England. As the youngest player, he is playing as an all-rounder on the England tour by Mumbai Cricket Club. Calcutta boy Sanlap was called by the famous coach Jal Singh for trial who has also coached Indian cricketers Yashaswi Jaiswal and Prithvi Shaw.

Jal Singh was fascinated by the skills of an 11-year-old child. After this, the coach helped him to get admission to Market Cricket Club. Sanlap Bose’s father Saptarshi Bose works in a private organisation while his mother Lopamudra Bose lives abroad on business. They never hesitated to support their kid in chasing his dreams.

Sanlap Bose has already showcased its skills against several top English school and college cricket teams on a 23-day tour of England. The youngest cricketer to tour England has also played at the dream Lord’s ground on the green carpet. The cricket experts were impressed by his grip on technical skills. Apart from batting, the young cricketer is also leaving a mark with his bowling skills. He currently studies at Don Bosco School in Park Circus, Kolkata. In between studies, he does regular cricket practice.
