''Thaandavam's "Uyirin Uyire" wins the the MTV awards

Well there is great news! The video of "Uyirin Uyire ..." from the Tamil action drama 'Thaandavam' won the MTV-VMAI awards for the Best Regional Music Video recently.

Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, the film has music by composer GV Prakash Kumar, and lyrics by NA Muthukumar

The Tamil flick 'Thaandavam' has singers Vandhana and Sathya Prakash singing for it and now is earning great reviews for the current number from cine goers.

This is the first MTV VMA awards in India. The ceremony, which has been taking place abroad for a few years now, has often been called the 'Oscars for youth', an acknowledgment of VMA's ability to draw millions of youth each year.
