THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Are you a devotee with a complaint about the functioning of any temple? Then the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) is ready to listen. TDB is conducting an ‘adalat’ aimed at settling the issues faced by devotees, employees and pensioners in an urgent manner. The ‘adalat’,the first of its kind in the history of the 61-year-old TDB, would be led by the TDB members and the Department heads in the second week of March 2012. The Board, with 1,210 temples under 20 groups in four Devaswom districts would be holding the two-day ‘adalat’ in Thiruvananthapuram and Aluva. The number of complaints from pensioners, starting from 1985, is also on the rise. Spread along the seven revenue districts from Thiruvananthapuram to Ernakulam, TDB has more than 6,000 employees in three categories viz, temple, establishment and works.
