HYDERABAD: The Centre should consider early deletion of clause 14 (f) of the Presidential Order governing public employment in Telangana region, A Gopala Kishan, chairman of Telangana Coordination Committee has said.  The statement comes in wake of Union home minister P Chidambaram’s statement that a fresh resolution was needed for deletion of the controversial clause from the Presidential Order of 1975.Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, he said the TCC faxed has faxed a memorandum to Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, demanding immediate deletion of the clause. He added the controversial clause allows job-seekers from across the state to compete for police jobs, thereby making sure only locals are eligible for police jobs.He announced the TCC will participate in the Sakala Janula Samme from August 17 and make sure all people irrespective of parties, religion and caste participate in the programme.  “Employees of private and public sectors, unions of different parties who are working for a separate Telangana state have already  announced they will participate, which shows the movement has support of every individual of the region,” Gopala Kishan said.He also demanded MLAs Damodar Rajanarasimha, Danam Nagender, Mukesh Goud, Bhatti Vikramarka, Marri Shashidhar Reddy, MP Anjan Kumar Yadav and Sarve Satayanarayana, who have not yet resigned, to put in their papers and participate in the agitations.MLC Chukka Ramaiah, general secretary T Vivek also spoke at the conference.
