HYDERABAD: At a brief and simple function that lasted just about five minutes, three MLAs were sworn in as ministers in the Kiran Kumar Reddy's cabinet, taking the total number of ministers to 41. All the three have become ministers for the fist time. Two of them hail from Telangana and one from North Andhra. Of the three, two are Malas.
Governor ESL Narasimhan administered the oath of office and secrecy to them at the Raj Bhavan on Monday evening. While, Prasad Kumar and Kondru Murali took oath in the name of God in Telugu, Uttam Kumar took the oath in English.It was the second expansion in less than a month. G Srinivasa Rao and C Ramachandraiah were taken into the cabinet on Jan 19.
