MANGALORE: Former head of applied Botany Department Professor Rasheed Ahmed's application seeking bail was rejected by the Second Additional and District Sessions courts on Friday.The court upholding the counter arguments of the Public Prosecutor rejected the bail application moved by advocate Ivan D'Souza on behalf of Professor Rasheed Ahmed.Having been remanded in judicial custody up to June 4, Prof Rasheed Ahmed is likely to continue his stay in District Wenlock hospital and approach High Court.
