Mumbai: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan today wished his 'Chennai Express' helmer Rohit Shetty and actor Ajay Devgn luck for their upcoming action film 'Singham 2'. With the gesture, Shah Rukh, 48, has buried the hatchet with Ajay which they developed during the release of their 2012 films 'Son of Sardar' and 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' (JTHJ).
Devgn had accused Yash Raj Films of using their position to edge his 'Son of Sardar' out of the competition by acquiring prime slots for 'JTHJ' screening.
"Want to wish Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn and their whole team of 'Singham 2' the best of luck. May you entertain us as you have been doing for years," Shah Rukh posted on Twitter. 'Singham 2', the reboot of hit 2011 film of the same name, also stars Kareena Kapoor and is currently on the post-production stage. It is expected to hit theatres on August 15.
Shah Rukh, who hugged Salman Khan again during an Iftaar party, is gearing up for his Diwali release 'Happy New Year'.
