Sekhar to remake 'Leader' with Rajinikanth

Telugu director Sekhar Kammula admires superstar Rajnikanth for his acting skills. He had considered remaking his hit film 'Leader' again in Tamil with the legendary superstar Rajini as the hero.

Sekhar Kammula said in an interview that he believes "Rajini has the power to change governments", however the filmmaker din't get a chance to approach Rajnikanth for his film despite several attempts.

"No one can reach the stardom which Rajinikanth has achieved over the years. He's an icon," quoted Sekhar Kammula, who still keeps his dream, to work with that icon alive.

Currently Sekhar Kammula is busy shooting with the Telugu and Tamil remake of Vidya Balan starrer 'Kahaani'.
