Security guard murdered

BANGALORE: A security guard  was murdered by unidentified miscreants. The incident was reported in Laughing Waters Apartment on White Field Main Road on Saturday. The victim Thimmaiah, 46, was a native of Tumkur.According to the police, he was at the night shift when the incident took place and on the wee hours of Saturday, the residents of the apartment noticed his body lying in the room meant for the security guard and informed the police. Miscreants had tied his hands and legs and had smothered him by stuffing pieces of cloth inside the victim’s mouth.The reason for the murder is yet to be ascertained. Further investigation is on.
