PUTTAPARTHI: Stunned by revelations of clandestine cash being squirreled away from Prashanthi Nilayam, relatives of the late Satya Sai Baba Tuesday challenged the guru’s influential devotees, several top politicians among them, to break their silence on the deeds of the Satya Sai Trust.‘’So many VVIPs including top politicians are devotees of Sai Baba. Despite the allegations flying around, why are they not opening their mouths,’’ asked Shankar Raju and Sawan Raju, both close relatives of Sai Baba. Shankar Raju is a son of Sai Baba’s sister, and Sawan Raju is the son of his sister’s daughter.Chetana Raju, another relative of Sai Baba, said the late guru’s extended family are under fear of threats by the Sai Trust.Meanwhile, notices have been served on trust member W Srinivasan’s secretary Venkatesh and Sadashivan, a close friend of Sohan Shetty, who was arrested in connection with the seizure of `35 lakh from the sahram.
