Horner, who has led Red Bull Racing since 2005, has been rewarded for his services to motorsport.
New Delhi: Formula 1 team Red Bull's boss Christian Horner has been rewarded for his services to motorsport with the Order of British Empire (OBE).
"I'm naturally shocked. It's all a bit unexpected, incredible really," Horner said. "To be in the company of men and women who have achieved such great things for the country is something very, very special. This is right up there with what I have achieved in motorsport."
In the chief's chair at Red Bull Racing since 2005, Horner successfully managed the Arden team in Formula 3000 after bringing the curtains down on his own racing career.
Red Bull have won the last three constructors' championships, with their No. 1 driver Sebastian Vettel completing a hat-trick of drivers' titles.
